چکیده
Abstract. Biodiesel production from waste such as wastewater sludge, palm oil mill effluent and dairy provide more sustainable approach greener energy. This paper analyzes the kinetic modelling for biodiesel scum via microwave heating transesterification. The results this study show that transesterification of is a first order which defines dependent on concentration one reactant linearly. activation energy reaction was validated to be 18.12 J/mol frequency factor 3.163 s-1. It process in lower than past works have been done. comparison value tabulated analysis section.

A Two-step Catalytic Production of Biodiesel from Waste Cooking Oil
Waste cooking oil (WCO) was used as a potential feedstock for biodiesel production. High levels of free fatty acids (9.85% w/w) in WCO made it an undesirable substrate for direct transesterification reaction. To solve this issue, a two-step process was implemented in this research. Firstly, esterification reaction was performed in presence of sulfuric acid as a common acid catalyst to reduce th...
متن کاملOptimization of Biodiesel Production from Castor Oil Using a Microwave Via Response Surface Methodology (RSM)
The purpose of this research work was to investigate the optimum operating conditions for biodiesel production from castor oil using a microwave. The Box–Behnken design of experiment was carried out using the Design Expert 7. A response surface methodology (RSM) was used to analyze the influence of the process variables (molar ratio of methanol to castor oil, catalyst concentration, reaction ti...

Abstract—Broiler slaughter waste has become a major source of pollution throughout the world. Utilization of broiler slaughter waste by dry rendering process produced Rendered Chicken Oil (RCO), a cheap raw material for biodiesel production and Carcass Meal a feed ingredient for pets and fishes. Conversion of RCO into biodiesel may open new vistas for generating wealth from waste besides contro...

متن کاملKinetic Study of the Pyrolysis of Waste Printed Circuit Boards Subject to Conventional and Microwave Heating
This paper describes a kinetic study of the decomposition of waste printed circuit boards (WPCB) under conventional and microwave-induced pyrolysis conditions. We discuss the heating rates and the influence of the pyrolysis on the thermal decomposition kinetics of WPCB. We find that the thermal degradation of WPCB in a controlled conventional thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) occurred in the tem...
